Glen McFarland, Managing Partner at McGovern Hurley LLP, has been elected as a Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. An FCPA is the highest honour that can be given to a CPA, recognizing exemplary leaders for their outstanding impact in the world of business and in their communities.

Glen has had a remarkable career with McGovern Hurley over the last 25 years. He joined McGovern Hurley as a co-op student in 1997 and became a partner in 2003. He now serves as a key member of the Firm leading the succession of the founders and has been instrumental in the growth of McGovern Hurley to being one of Toronto’s most well recognized firms.

Throughout Glen’s career he has shown passion and dedicated to the profession by sitting on several boards and committees. Since 2018 he has been serving as a member of the IFRS Discussion Group with AcSB (Accounting Standards Board), he served the maximum six-year term with the Practice Inspection Committee with CPA Ontario and was a proud member of the Accounting Advisory Board of the University of Toronto while they developed their first ever master’s program for Accounting and Finance.
